AFE10004: Buffer Amp High and Normal Current Drive Capabilities?

Hello, 

The Datasheet reports that the output buffers can support a load current of up to 100mA. This is said for a number of up to 2 channels. 

Does this mean that only two DACs can be operational at a time (e.g Out 1 and Out 2)? Can each support 100mA or is the 100mA shared?

    Hi Mike,

    The current drive is specific for each individual DAC output. Each output can support up to 100mA simultaneously. This combined current flows through the VCC/VSS power rails, so ensure you have enough current capability from your supplies.
