ADC12DL065: Not able to import IBIS file format in Cadence Capture

Part Number: ADC12DL065

IBIS model of ADC12DL065 is given the model on the site, but i am not able to import in cadence capture / pspice for TI
The existing solution for conversion using model editor is now not available in capture 17.4
How should I proceed?

Hi Harsh,

I would suggest you try to down rev Cadence to 17.2. We will not be able to support modifying the IBIS model

I installed cadence 17.2 version, still the problem is same. I am not able to find model converter in that, nor the generate part is accepting .ibs file format.
Can you please guide me further.

Harsh,

Then you will need to contact Cadence to help with the import as the IBIS model are provided as is.

I am looking to do a project using ADC
Most of the available ADC which fulfill our requirements has a IBIS model given by TI.
Let me know how to do the circuit simulation before going for PCB fabrication to ensure that the circuit designed is correct.

Harsh,

As Geoff mentioned, we cannot support modification of the ibis model. This is the first time we have heard issues like this and the model has not changed in years. When you are finished with the design, please reach back out and ask for a schematic review and we will be more than glad to support that.
