I am currently working on a project to measure respiration waveforms using the AFE4960. In the process of developing an evaluation board, we set the BIOZ_PHASE_OFFSET to its default value and observed that the phase difference between the I and Q signals was close to 0 degrees.
To adjust this, we changed the BIOZ_PHASE_OFFSET value to 400 (approximating a 90-degree shift), which resulted in a phase difference close to 180 degrees for the I and Q signals. This outcome was not as expected.
Is it standard practice to experimentally alter the BIOZ_PHASE_OFFSET register to tune the phase difference between the I and Q signals to achieve a 90-degree phase shift? If so, could you provide any guidelines or a recommended approach for this tuning process?
I appreciate any assistance or insights you can offer regarding the optimal configuration of the BIOZ_PHASE_OFFSET for accurate phase alignment in respiration waveform measurements.
