ADS5409EVM: Usage of ADS5409EVM and TSW1400EVM for data acquisition

Hello,

I am working on a project that requires the rapid acquisition of analog data, and I may consider using an ADC evaluation board along with the associated data capture card. My application aims to retrieve data from a sensor and use it in real-time within a robotic cell.

I have very little knowledge in the fields of electronics and programming, which is why I turned to this solution because I saw that data could be processed using the HSDC Pro GUI software. However, this hardware seems to be more geared towards evaluating the ADC component rather than data acquisition, and also, the software appears to be merely a means of analyzing the data.

Therefore, I would like to know if someone could provide information on the following issues:

- Is this solution viable for my application?

- Can I also process the data in real-time using the provided software and also in other software like Matlab or even on a numerical control system for the robotic cell?

The hardware I intend to use:

- ADS5409EVM

- TSW1400EVM

    Unfortunately, I am not sure this is the right platform for your application.

    You probably want to use a microcontroller with an embedded ADC in order to sample the robotic cell.

    A 900MSPS ADC will not feasible to stream thru the USB connection.
