Hi,

I plan to interface the DAC128S085EVM with a LaunchXL-F28379D.

I would like to know the following:

1. Is there any available firmware or software example that can be used for this MCU application?

2. Could you provide an example of the wiring required to run the EVM?

    Hello, 

    We don't have any example code. I would recommend browsing the code examples available for the Launchpad to see if they have a SPI driver and example. This device uses SPI communication in 16bit frames with the following format:

    Once you have SPI up and running you can easily plug in the 16bit commands to configure the DAC. The different commands are shown in section 8.3.6 of the datasheet:

     

    The EVM user's guides shows the schematic for the EVM:

    The connectors follow the booster pack standard, so you should be able to plug this into your launchpad. I found the pinout to your launchpad here:
