Hello team,
Would it be okay to flow reverse current to VOUT of this device?
Will it damage the device?
My customer is trying to build system like below with opamp operating at 15V, while DAC8555 is at 3.3V.
Best Regards,
Kei Kuwahara

Hi Kei,
This device does have sink current capability, but it offsets the output voltage quite a bit. I would suggest limiting the current into the DAC to account for this. As long as you do not go over the 10mA mark in the plot, the device should not be damaged.
Thanks,
Erin
Hello Erin-san,
Thank you for your answer.
My customer wants to know the input impedance of VOUT pin when the device is OFF (VDD = 0V).
Do you have the impedance value for VOUT when VDD = 0V?
Best Regards,
Kei Kuwahara
Hi Kei,
It does not look like we have an impedance value when the device is off. The device likely uses the Power Down circuitry when the device is off, though the datasheet doesn't say what the value is besides that it is high impedance.
Thanks,
Erin
