AFE5818EVM: Use Raspberry Pi to extract data from AFE5818EVM connected to a TSW1400EVM

Hello :))

I'm using an AFE5818EVM to receive ultrasound signals along with a TSW1400EVM to capture and evaluate the data. This works very well. Thank you! 

Now I would like to make use of a Raspberry Pi to automatically extract data from the TSW1400EVM. Ideally without using the GUI. Is there a clever way to connect the Raspberry Pi to the TSW1400EVM and give commands/receive data, e.g., via a Python script?
