Hi team,

A customer is looking into the DAC7562, they would like to have a newer DAC the following requirements:

Do we have some design solutions for protection of analog voltage output?

Their typical environment requires at least to survive to a short to ground and to a short to battery.

Hi Wouter,

Unfortunately the two channel version of this device is not automotive qualified, but you can consider the DAC63204-Q1.

Here are other devices that might fit the requirement, but the DAC63204-Q1 is the newest:

What part does not have the automotive qualification, but has the 2 channels?\

I assume it is the DAC63202.

Just out of curiosity, the monotonicity is another word for the resolution right?

The DAC63202 is the 2channel version of the DAC63204.
