Hello,

I have ADS5409EVM and TSW1400EVM. I want to capture data from TSW1400EVM by using Jetson Orin Nano (Linux). I can't find .so files for Linux in High-Speed Data Converter application. Where can I find .so files for Linux applications? Is there Linux support for the TSW1400EVM?

Hi Furkan,

The HSDC Pro software only runs on windows. There is no support for Linux.

Are there any Linux-compatible libraries available for me to develop my own software? As far as I understand, HSDC Pro has been developed by a third-party developer and there are no further updates. I see that the TSW1400EVM communicates information to the PC via FTDI. I can develop my own library for Linux. However, is there any documentation available regarding TSW1400EVM's communication protocol, message types sent during data transmission, etc.?

Hi Furkan,

Unfortunately we have no resources for doing this. If this is absolutely necessary then my suggestion would be to create firmware for the fpga that is on the TSW1400EVM for your converter and use JTAG to receive the data from the fpga. This is probably the easiest method to implement for Linux.

I found some source files in the installation location of HSPC Pro. These look like qar files and when I open the file it looks like there are communications like ddr, spi, etc. If this file is really the same as the firmware inside the TSW1400EVM, I can read it and integrate the Linux software into it.

Yes, what you mention above is what is required to achieve this. We have no drivers or support for the ftd2xx dll for linux. FTDI may have them for you.

I see that the software in the TSW1400EVM communicates with the computer via SPI. Regarding this, is there any documentation regarding the SPI register addresses of the TSW1400EVM?

Unfortunately we do not have any supporting documentation other than what comes in the TSW1400 folder in HSDCPro.

As Geoff mentioned above, we don't have any insights into this firmware. I have attached it again here but suspect it is the same one you have in the installation file. This is the most we can offer since we don't have anything else. I hope that it helps.
