Could you please help confirm why this physical marking is inconsistent with the datasheet marking, with a letter B missing

Hi yingjiao,

If you carefully check ADS7809 data sheet and TI.com, you should be able to see this ADC actually has two variants, ADS7809 and ADS7809B. The device you are showing is ADS7809, not ADS7809B.

According to your reply, it means that there are two marking of this product, right?

Any marking is consistent, right?

Is there any difference in marking parameters and performance?

Hi yingjiao,

I would correct my feedback after I double checked with my colleagues. Both have topside symbolization of “ADS7809U”. The outer packaging for ADS7809B should still carry the ‘B’, but the individual chips do not. This was a change around one year ago.

I don't understand what you mean. I want to confirm whether the physical objects in the pictures are in line with the product ADS7809UB/1K

Is the model the same as the real one?

Hi yingjiao,

You can see the difference (B or regular version) on outer packaging but you can not distinguish whether it is "B" or not just from the top marking of chip. Both ADS7809UB and ADS7809U has the same top marking (ADS7809U) on physical chips.

Are the product parameters corresponding to these two marking different? Our object without B is the correct object (ADS7809UB/1K)
