ADS8698: 8-Channel ADC behaving like a 4-Channel ADC with miss mapped pin to address

I have the 8-Channel ADC with the full part number: ADS8698 32TQ4 ADYP which shows some deviations from the datasheet.

I get data out of 4 channels and the AUX.

a. Data out on channel address range is consistent with 4 channel (C000h - CC00h)

b. differing channel address to pin mapping (C000h on pin 18/19 against 16/17), (C400h on 22/23 against 18/19), (C800h on 12/13 against 20/21) and (CC00 on 14/15 against 22/23)

c. for D000 - DC000 address range data out just has noise around 0x20000 value

All channels use the same circuit. Therefore, I good insight about this issue would be highly appreciated.
