ADS131M08: ADS131M08 gets hang/ Malfunction during EFT test.

We are using the ADS131M08 but for this we are getting the issues that ADC gets hang during the Electric fast Transient test (EFT/BURST) of 2000V/100Khz.

Also it is observed that the in some cases even when we had applied 230V input to the meter the meter shows reading 219V during and after the EFT test.

The meter shows correct reading when we manually restarts( Power ON/OFF the meter

    Hi MAHESH,

    EMC testing is a system level test and the test result is highly related to your system design including proper protection circuity, PCB layout design and so on. I did not do EMC test with a design based on ADS131M08 yet, but we have done EMC tests on other Delta-sigma ADCs and we achieved a very good result for EFT, and other IEC-61000-x tests. To address the issue you are facing, your design files including schematic and pcb layout are needed, I can share our suggestions after review your design.
