ADS1292: combining the ads1292R and the ads1293

I have a system that uses the ads1293 and it works well.  I want to add respiration so I want to 

run a 1292R chip in sync with the 1293..

I this possible ?  is it a good idea ?

The data sheets tell how to sync multiple ads1293  OR multiple 1292R but not 

one of each.

    Hi Phil,

    It is not recommended to combine ADS1292R and ADS1293 since clocking is different and the devices do not support daisy chaining them together.

    How many ECG channels do you require for your application?

    You can consider ADS1294R which will have 3 ECG channel and 1 respiration channel.
