DAC5578: Timing of Slave Address Fixation

Hi team,

Please tell me about slave addresses.

Power is applied to AVDD, and the state of the ADDR pin is captured at the timing of POR release, at which point it is determined.
After the slave address is fixed, there is no change in the slave address even if the state of the ADDR pin changes.
Is this correct?
If so, how long is the POR time?
Is it about 50us of "Power-up time" after the AVDD voltage of the operating voltage becomes about 2.7V?

Based on this statement in the datasheet it seems like the device address can be dynamically updated during operation:

I've ordered an EVM to check that this is the correct understanding. I'll let you know once it arrives and I am able to check.

Hi Ryu,

I have tested on the EVM and confirmed that the I2C address is fixed after power up, it cannot be changed dynamically during operation even with a SW reset command.

I sent a SW reset command to measure the POR delay and it looks to be about 50us. So on power up, this would be 50us after the minimum supply like you mentioned.
