ADS124S08: Accuracy

Hello,

What will be the accuracy we could achieve using a 3 Wire -Class AA RTD sensor. Can we use 4 Wire RTD with this ADS124S08 ?

Hi Sobin,

Please check out the circuits in A Basic Guide to RTD Measurements as the circuits shown relate well to the ADS124S08. The accuracy will depend on how well you perform your system design, PCB layout and whether or not you do any calibration. There is a software tool (ADC-RTD-CONFIG-CALC) in the form of an Excel spreadsheet that will help you with design and configuration.

Hi Sobin,

Did you not look at the guide I referenced in my previous post? That has many combinations of circuit configuration. In addition, going to the ADS124S08 product page has many links to technical documentation.
