ADS54J60: Low common-mode voltage on digital outputs

Part Number: ADS54J60

On a board with multiple ADS54J60 ADCs, some ADCs have low (~0V) common-mode voltage on the digital outputs and no activity. For all ADCs on the board the SPI registers can be accessed, and power and clock have been checked.

We have other identical boards on which all ADCs work correctly.

What could be causing some ADCs to behave strangely?

Yes, they are all programmed with the same register values.

Hi,

Is a hard reset being applied after power up before the parts are programmed? Could the pins on the boards be shorted? What frequency is the SPI running at? Where are you measuring the common-mode and could you send a scope capture of a good and bad output?
