ADS5281: Need 16 channel ADC

Hello,

I have go through the ADS5281 datasheet, As datasheet mentioned the two technique for the single ended input to differential with respect to the input infrequency,

one for low input frequency
second for hign frequeny.

Que1: So my question is that, What will be the Low frequecy and high frequency range?

We have two options as we have 16 Analog input signals,

Option1 :- We will use Two ADS5281

Option 2: We need the IC with 16 channel Analog Input.

Que2: Can you please suggest the 16 channel Analog Input IC ?

Hi Alpesh,

The datasheet makes mention of using the diff clock at all frequencies but especially above 30MHz. See section below from Page 23

Please check to see if any of these 16-ch ADC's meet your requirements

Hello Geoff,

Thanks for the reply.

My concern is for the Analog Input frequency range as mentioned in below Image for beter understanding. Here the Input analog signal have the frequency range considered as Low and High and the suggested circuit will be selected based on frequency. So, I want to know the range for low frequency and High frequency.

Alpesh,

High and low frequencies are relative. The people that worked on that project are no longer at TI so I can't answer what they thought of as high and low frequency beyond what I sent in the last email.
