Dear sir,

 

we have Xilinx ML605 evaluation board, dac3484evm and FMC-DAC-Adaptor rev.b with us.

but the signals on the dac3484evm shematic sync, parity, and fifo istr are not given in the FMC-DAC-Adaptor schematic

and also the DAC3484EVM is fixing properly on the FMC-DAC-Adaptor and this combination is not properly fixing to the Xilinx ML605.

but in the website it is told that the DAC3484EVM can be interfaced with Xilinx ML605 board

please let me know the solution for this.

    Hello Sridhar,

    Rev. D of the FMC-DAC-adapter is needed to interface the ML605 with DAC3484 EVM. It has the additional sync, parity, and ISTR pairs routed to the Xilinx EVM. The rev. D version of the adapter will be back-ward compatible with the rev. B version. 

    There are still some rev. B version of the adapter in the stock, and this may be the reason why there is a mix up. We are in the process of resolving this.

    I believe your local FAE have relayed the request. If this is a difference case, I will contact you privately to confirm shipping information.

    your local FAE has replied to this and told that he will be providing the rev.D  adaptor.

    Update:

    The EVM store will pull the current rev. B boards out from stock and replenish with rev. D boards.
