DAC63004W: FB pin Hi-Z in VOUT mode

Part Number: DAC63004W

Tool/software:

Hello team,

I am in voltage output mode and have FB1 connected to OUT1 for closed-loop amplifier. If I write a 1 to VOUT-PDN-1[1]  and a 1 to VOUT-PDN-1[0], thus powering down VOUT-1 to Hi-Z, can I assume that FB1 will become Hi-Z as well? I am concerned that there is active leakage on FB1 in this scenario.

If not, is there a way I can ensure that FB1 is Hi-Z?

Thanks!

Austin Allen

  • Hi Austin,

The FB pin is also set to Hi-Z, but there will always be leakage through internal device components.

The leakage was characterized to be on the nA scale when FB and OUT are connected together and the output channel is configured in Hi-Z.

    Best,
