ADS1278-SP: looking for Simultaneous ADC with FIR and IIR 24 bit 50kbps

Hi TI,

We are developing a DAQ system and have the following requirements:

- **Input Channels:** 10 channels, 24-bit simultaneous ADC
- **Data Rate:** 50 kbps for each channel
- **Filters:** Both FIR and IIR
- **Effective Resolution:** Highest possible

Please help us identify components that meet these specifications.

If these features are not available in a single package, is there an option to customize according to our needs? Kindly let us know the process.

    Hello Sarath,

    The only precision ADC that we have that includes both IIR and FIR filters and also supports 50ksps data rates is the ADS127L21.  This is a single channel device, but 10 devices can be daisy-chained together and synchronized with each other.  The ADS127L21 offers both FIR, SINC, and IIR filter options.  At 50ksps, effective resolution is >21b.
