DAC8831: SPI Protocol Commands and Relevant Registers

Hi!

I have purchased the DAC8831 IC for an application. The DAC uses SPI interface. Unfortunately, I am unable to find the relevant commands and corresponding registers to communicate with the DAC using microcontroller. The datasheet of the device does not contain those details. 

Can someone please share the required details/documents.

    Hi Chetan,

    The device does not really have any register addresses.  The device utilizes a simple SPI shift register that writes to the DAC data register directly:

    The data is straight binary, 16 bit.
