ADS131A04: Only able to get FF82 response from READY

Hi, may I know what step am I missing? I have been trying to get the ready response from the chip (FF04) but so far only successfully getting FF82 even though I have sent the NULL command two times in a row.

    Welcome to TI E2E forum. This is an expected behavior from ADS131A04 ADC, please see the [FAQ] ADS131A04: READY response word.

    Hi Dale, thanks for the swift reply. I have looked into it and tried sending it however to no improvement. I am currently using an STM32H755ZI chip. May I know the back to back frames to be sent is in what specific configuration?

    I have tried both to send and receive the data to the ADC chip with double the size of the frame, hence back to back. Toggling CS sending two successive SPI commands and toggling CS. The third method I tried is (toggling CS before and after sending the SPI frame). did this twice.

    Hi Tim,

    What do you mean "no improvement"? Are you still receiving 0xFF82 in the first frame? What's the data you received in the second frame?

    Can you please share your SPI timing of the first and second frame after power-up?
