ADS1298ECGFE-PDK: Not getting the channel actual data

Part Number: ADS1298ECGFE-PDK

Tool/software:

Hello,

i'm using the ADS1298ECGFE-PDK board so i'm trying received the actual data from channel 1 so i apply the 1.8v dc voltage in the positive terminal on channel 1 input and negative terminal connected with WCT i'm setting the reference voltage is 2.4v so you can share me the what is the register config on channel setting ? now i'm setting resister is 0x05 o it's right or not please check all the resister setting below.

  • Hello Parth,

Please review the channel register settings in Figure 79 as well as the MUX block diagram in Figure 25. Currently, you have configured Channel 1 to measure the internal test signal, not the voltage present on the IN1P/N pins.

If 1.8V is applied to IN1P, what is the voltage on IN1N? WCT is derived from the average of 3 input pins, but none of these other input pins are currently used in the configuration you described. Remember that the differential input voltage to any channel is limited to ±VREF/Gain. At Gain = 6, IN1N must be limited to 1.8V ± (2.4/6).

    Regards,

    Ryan

  • Hello ryan,

Thanks for suggesting but currently i'm facing issue not show the negative wave. i applied sine wave ±200mv signal so what can issue this IN1N applied ground IN1P Positive lead connected

  • Hello Parth,

I'm not following the problem clearly. Have you changed the input source from 1.8V DC to a sine wave with 200mVp amplitude? What is the common-mode voltage of that signal? Also, what are the analog supply voltages - and are they unipolar or bipolar? Have you updated the register settings according to my previous reply?

A diagram showing the input connections and jumper configurations, as well as updated register settings and measurement results, would help me understand what the issue is and offer useful suggestions.

    Regards,

    Ryan
