AMC60704: AMC60704

Part Number: AMC60704

Tool/software:

Screenshot as above, issues encountered in debug:

1. VCC_MCU=3.3VDC, VCC_5V=5VDC, VCC_LASER=1.55VDC, are there any power supply sequence and timing requirements for these power supplies?

2. When IDAC/VDAC/ADC is not normally external load or input in PCBA debug, VDAC cannot test the normal set voltage. The current  VDAC measured voltage is 0VDC, and I2C cannot read the normal value after the ADC get voltage.

Emergency help, thanks

  • Hi Zhixiong,

    1. There is no required supply sequence.

    2. Can you confirm you are able to read or write to the device? For example, can you successfully read the CHIP_ID register (0x02)?  We should confirm communication is valid first.  Are you using the register paging system correctly?

    Thanks,

    Paul

  • Hi Paul,

    Thanks for your reply.

At present, there is no error in I2C communication and we will double check I2C waveform and timingSince lack of the load for IDAC and VDCA Pin in PCBA debug, is the successful setting of IDAC current and VDAC voltage affected?

  • Hi Zhixiong,

Do you see either a IDAC current of VDAC voltage at any of the outputs? Are you making sure to power these outputs on in the power enable register?

    Best,

    Katlynne Jones
