ADS1299EEGFE-PDK: Do i still read data from those i turn off?

Part Number: ADS1299EEGFE-PDK
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1299

Tool/software:

Hi TI experts,

As the title, i would like to know if i still get bytes from channels which i have turned off?

For example, i would get status register(3 bytes) + 8 channels (24 bytes) from SPI communication if i don't turn off any channels.

Would it be 3+21 bytes if i turn off one of the 8 channels?

Another question, the default register of CH1SET(also 2~8) in datasheet is 0x61.

However, in software i see it is 0x60. (Have already click reset button in software)

Which is correct?

For question No.2, I found that the software which TI provided change the register to software version, but it does not describe in datasheet.

Thank you.
