Using the ADS1298ECGFE-PDk evaluation kit, I can obtain ECG signals with the ADS1298 software application that is available on its website. However, the datasheet and user manual suggest that we may also use it to detect EMG signals. I tried modifying each configuration in the tools, but I still couldn't get the EMG signal. Could you kindly tell me how to get the EMG signal on the ADS1298ECGFE-PDK board and is it possible to view EMG signal in ADS1298 software tool?

    Hello Ajay,

    Although we promote the ADS1298 primarily as an analog front-end for ECG applications due to its unique features, it can technically be used for almost any bipotential measurement. The only limiting factors would be the dynamic range and sampling rate of the ADC channels. There are no specific register settings which you must follow in order to measure EMG instead of ECG in the ADS1298.
