Tool/software:
A discrepancy exist between the layout example for QFN package and the Land Pattern. The Land pattern shows the centerpad of 0.8 mm square with 0.2mm via at the center.
The layout example (which seems correct from the parts connected to respective pins) shows pretty large center pad with 5 vias.
This is confusing.

Please refer to the land pattern drawings for any sizing. They are correct.
If you look at the DAC80508EVM, the footprint that is actually used is aligned with the land pattern. (screenshot from the datasheet)
The layout example likely used a footprint for an existing 16 channel device that was available at the time. As far as routing and device placement, the layout example is correct.
