Hello support team,
I have gone through DAC39RF12 DAC which is suitable for my application. I have not found the other information such as DAC39RF12's compatible xilinx evaluation board as well as TI based JESD IP for the same. from where can I get the other design resources for the general-purpose DAC39RF12 DAC? Which Xilinx FPGA evaluation board is proven and compatible with DAC39RF12 DAC evaluation board in terms of JESD interfacing IP core and data transfer from FPGA to DAC.
Awaited your prompt response.
Hello support team,
Kindly provide the above details as soon as possible, as our finalization of FPGA will be based on your response.
Hello,
We can target several Xilinx development kits including the VCU118 and VCK190. Ultrascale+ and Versal targets are typically supported. If you can provide a dev kit you have in mind we can confirm if it will work or not. The FPGA platform we use for our capture card/pattern generator is an Ultrascale+ FPGA.
Regards,
Matt
Hello Matt,
Thank you for your response.
we are planning to use ZCU102 ultra scale MPSoC. Can you confirm weather this dev kit is supported or not? or else we don't mind go for different ultra scale+ FPGA, for which you have inline support. Request you to provide the xilinx dev kit's part numbers for which you have the proven support.
Awaited your quick response.
Hello,
A ZCU102 will work. This board only has FMC connectors on it and the DAC uses FMC+ so you will need an FMC to FMC+ adapter. You will also only have access to some of the SERDES on the DAC if you use this approach so you may be limited if you need a large amount of input bandwidth. If you can provide some information on your planned setup I can advise further.
Regards,
Matt
