My customer is considering is ADS1298ECGFE-PDK and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

Regarding ADS1298ECGFE-PDK,

is it possible to simultaneously acquire, convert, and display waveforms?

According to the Use's Guide of  ADS1298ECG-FE/ADS1198ECG-FE, It seems to be possible.

Is this understanding correct?

    Hello Inoue-san,

    Thank you for your post. The ADS1298ECGFE-PDK does not support live streaming. You can request a finite number of samples to capture at the configured data rate. After the capture is completed, the data will be transferred via USB to the PC and displayed in the Analysis section of the GUI.

    Is ADS1298ECGFE-PDK possible to sample data from multiple channels at the same time and display it simultaneously in the GUI?

    I think it's possible and confirm just in case.

    Hello Inoue-san,

    Yes, all 8 channels are always acquired simultaneously and available for display. You can choose how many channels to plot in the various analysis windows. For example, see Figure 17 for the Scope tool:

    Could you please advise listed below.

    ---Questions

    (1) Is the GUI source code of the ADS1298ECGFE-PDK available?
    (2) Is it possible to display in real time by modifying the GUI?
    (3) Is it necessary to prepare the other CPU board in order to display in real time?
    (4) Is the GUI data during waveform measurement saved to the PC?
    (5) What will the GUI data format be when saved, and how many samples will be included?

    Hello Shinichi-san,

    1. The GUI source code can be found in the installation directory
    2. Modifications to the GUI or firmware source code are not supported
    3. Modifications to the MMB0 motherboard are not supported
    4. Please read section 3.6 of the User Guide
    5. The GUI will export the number of samples in the previous data capture.
