Hello All,

              I need to design a programmable voltage source using DAC1282 with at least 30v at 5 amp with programmable range of current and voltage, I would like to get inputs from the community on this topic.

    To get 30V and 5A, you'd need a high voltage gain stage and high output current stage. You could look at an integrated option such as the OPA549 or OPA541. 

    The OPA549 shows an example for setting the output current limit with an external DAC:
