DAC34SH84: Does driver support required for this device?

Hi,
It seems the device has set of register with default values. So, I'm getting doubtful that, to power up this device, kernel driver support is required.
Will it work without driver support?

    Hello,

    The DAC34SH84 requires SPI register configuration. The host FPGA or MCU provides the SPI register configuration. There are no drivers for the DAC34SH84. For details, please refer to the following programming section as an example programming:
