ADS7853: Schematic review for ADS7853

Part Number: ADS7853

Tool/software:

Hi team,

My customer want to invite you to check attached schematic layout for ADS7853. Do you have any advise whether this is good for them?

  • Hello Zoe,

I have a couple follow up questions:

    1. Do they plan to have any amplifier before the anti-aliasing filter?
      1. The schematic seems to partially resemble the DAQ 10kHz design example on the datasheet but with out the OPA, do we know if the customer's system will be a DAQ? or what kind of system are they designing? and for what kind of input?
    2. Do they plan to have a reference buffer?
      1. The reference they have seems to be a 150mA reference and should be able to supply enough current, but they should make sure it is able to drive the input's dynamic load
        1. Typically we recommend a buffer to be able to drive the dynamic load

That being said, aside the previously mentioned buffers/drivers, what is actually on the schematic looks good, supply, reference, and recommended capacitors and resistors are in place

    Best regards,

    Yolanda
