TLA2518: Powering up only DVDD (the interface side) of the converter

Part Number: TLA2518

Tool/software:

Hello!

First post, so please go easy on me!

The question is if the device can have only DVDD powered up, while AVDD being off. The rationale behind it is, that DVDD is also used by a CPU, which needs to be programmed, while the rest of the board is preferred to be off. AVDD is a separate supply in a bid to keep it cleaner. It is by far easier to power just the DVDD, than both supplies.

I know that datasheet  allows separate supplies and AVDD power cycling for reset as per clause 7.4.1, implying DVDD can remain on while AVDD is recycled (as cycling DVDD is not mentioned). It might, however, be slightly different for a brief reset, vs longer programming time.

I know it can be tested/checked empirically, but prefer to avoid the situation when it works on 1-off, but causes problems with higher quantities.

Many thanks for help!
