AFE781H1: UART Break communication is not reliable

Hello,

I have started communicating with AFE781H1 chip.

Issue is sometimes I am unable to get response to AFE781H1 chip.  The RX pin stays HIGH, after TX query for READ function.  Would this be related to baud rate (timer) accuracy issues?

Can I increase the UART break time to 12 or 13 characters?

    Bhushan,

    I'm not sure what the problem is. The internal oscillator clock is accurate to ±1%, so the UART timing should be the same. 

    However, if you do increase the UART break time to 12 or 13 characters, the device will still interpret that as a UART break. The device is only looking for any time period longer than 11 characters.

    Hello Joseph,

    I apologize for the delay in getting back to you.

    The issue was on the MCU clock timing side. After changing the MCU  clock time, DAC responded to all the queries.
