Hello,

My customer uses AMC7836 for AMP BIAS current sensing and control.

While they were looking for a more compact product, they came across the LMP92066PWPR.

Is it possible to perform AMP BIAS control in real time on MCU using LMP92066PWPR?

    Hi JH,

    The LMP92066 is PA controller that uses closed-loop temperature control to bias the PA gate. You would program the controller's EEPROM with a lookup table, then set it running in the system without needing MCU control. Note though, this device does not have any current sensing capability. 

    In addition, the AFE10004 is very similar to the LMP, with the additional benefit of fast on and off switching, and 2 more gate outputs. Let me know if you have any questions about these devices.
