Hello,

I want to start a design using ADS1263. I read the ADS1263EVM-PDK document and see an interface board with fpga is used. 

I wonder why fpga is required? Can it be done with msp or other microcontroller without fpga?

    Hi MHEL,

    The controller card for the ADS1263EVM-PDK is intended to be a generic board that can support many different ADCs. That is why an FPGA is used.

    A "standard" microcontroller like the MSP432 would be sufficient if you only need to communicate with and receive data from the ADS1263 device.
