Hello,

Is there any possibility that the part “ADS1213E” will get support for next few years? If yes, what would be the tenure?

Also I could see the parts ADS1213U and ADS1213U/1K as Active in Website but as per EOL notice they are Obsolete. Can you confirm on these as well?OMS_23450_eol_doc (1).pdf

Hi Suresh,

The ADS1213E, ADS1213U, and ADS1213U/1K will be supported for the next few years. We do recommend moving over to the ADS124S08 (300mm wafer technology) or ADS1256 for future designs to ensure good supply continuity.

One of your colleague has stated that ADS1213E is Obsolete and no more inventory on these parts. Can you reconfirm on this?

If you believe that you could support, for how long years we can get your support on above parts? Also may I know which factor decides it?

Hi Suresh,

My apologizes, I made a mistake the ADS1213E is obsolete due to lead frame / package EOL due to an external vendor. We are building additional volumes and procuring additional lead frames, and have requested a 10-year build ahead based on historical run rates. However, the final finished goods amount is unknown at this time due to limitations with the external vendor.

So it's basically a 50%-50% note, seems like there is no fixed guarantee on the Volume.

You have requested 10-year built ahead to external vendor. Can I consider the part to be Active for next 2 to 3 years? If it's so, then we will have enough time to check feasiblity on ADS1213U, ADS124S08 or ADS1256 parts.
