AFE4490: Relationship between INN INM and TXP TXN for AFE4400 and AFE4490

Part Number: AFE4490

Tool/software:

First Here is datasheet to use this case.

www.ti.com/.../afe4490.pdf

What I want to do: I want to set the AFE4490 datasheet Figure 116. LEDCNTRL: LED Control Register (Address = 22h, Reset Value = 0000h) and control it so that only the TXP TXN LED blinks.
(The signal is received from another location. INN INM is unused.)
The INN INM pins are made accessible by extending the PCB pattern. A monitor pin is provided.
In this case,
in many cases, when the monitor pins written there on INN INM are touched by hand at the same time, only the TXP TXN LED blinks as intended.
Therefore, which of the following would be least likely to break in order to reproduce this situation without touching it by hand?
1. Short TXP and TXN
2. Connect TXP and TXN to ground
3. Short TXP and TXN and connect them to ground.
