AMC7924: Inquiry on device control for DAC output

Hello,

My customer is testing the DAC0 output variation of the AMC7924 on a board they designed.

They controlled the AMC7924 as below, but there was no change in the DAC0 output.

0x001 0xa0

0x015 0xa7

0x0AE 0xff

0x0AE 0x00

0x030 0x00

0x031 0x08

0x0B2 0x01

Please let us know if there is anything they need to control or change additionally to get normal DAC output.

Hi JH,

Do you clear the Device Configuration register (0x002)? The device defaults to sleep mode, so you need to write 0x00 to the register to turn the device on.

Additionally, please write 0x0B2 before you write the DAC buffer (0x030).

Let me know if the device still doesn't work.
