ADC12J4000EVM: Dual-Polarity support

I would like to ask about whether the ADC12J4000EVM ADC can support dual polarity or not. In other words, can It accept negative AC values?

Also concerning the Input Range, It is mentioned that it supports 0.725V p.p. Does that mean that the signal can swing from 0 to 0.725V or from -0.3625 to 0.3625V?

Hi Sherif,

Since the input is AC coupled the DC offset does not matter.

Hello,

Thank you for the info, but If the input signal is single-ended AC and its value is in negative, would that be ok? From my understanding, I need to convert it to differential signal. In that case, would it be accepted by the ADC?

Hi Sherif,

The B0430J50100AHF is a balun and will handle the single-ended to differential conversion with as little distortion as possible. It's input and outputs are AC coupled so the ADC will work with your signal as passed through the balun.
