ADS8688: power-up time when external reference mode

Tool/software:

I read that 15ms are required for device to power-up when REFSEL = 0(internal reference mode).

In my application, internal reference mode is disabled.(REFSEL = DVDD)

How long does it take to power-up?

    Hi Yoonsun,

    The 15 ms delay described in the ADS8688 datasheet (section 8.4.2.4) is connected with the internal reference turn-on time (see page 10 - Internal Reference).  There is no significant delay when using an external reference and software reset.  Hardware reset would require you to re-load whatever register settings you need for your particular application.
