TSW14J50EVM: DAC EVM Pattern Generator functionality - Availability

In the user guide of the above part, it is mentioned that DAC EVM Pattern Generator is not available. Please see below:

I wish to use this EVM with DAC37J84EVM to test high speed DAC's. I wish to send various data patterns to DAV EVM such as various basic waves (sinzes, pulses), custom waves, I/Q modulated waves, etc. Does the above limitation mean that I cannot use it for such purposes? 

Also, are there any similar board that use Xilinx FPGA's instead?
