LM10011: Combination of LM10011 and DC/DC used to generate Smart Reflex CVDD

Looks like the CVDD range of the TMS320C6657 is 0.85V to 1V:

Is there a specific reason you have to use the LM10011 to turn the TPSM82866A/MPM3650 into a variable supply? Both devices will support the range of CVDD, but if there is not a need for you to vary the supply during operation, then you do not need the LM10011.

Hi, Jones-san,

The CVDD voltage value of the TMS320C6657 varies depending on the individual device.
The CVDD value is assigned to the terminal VCNTL[3:0] of the TMS320C6657.
When powering up, CVDD must be set to a voltage that corresponds to the VCNTL[3:0] value, between 0.85V and 1.1V.
For this reason, L1011 and a voltage-adjustable DC/DC are required.

In that case, it does make sense to use the LM10011. It will work with both power supplies. 

You could also consider a DAC to control the variable power supply:
