DAC38J84: DAC register is all 0 when software reset

Hi team,

This is FAE Jayden, My customer got a question about DAC38J84. When my customer frequently performs software reset operations (not power-off reset) on the whole platform, initialization fails and the DAC register is all 0. Have you encountered similar problems? What may be the cause? Thanks.

Hi,

Please make sure you have properply reset the DAC and also changed the SPI to 3 wire or 4 wire mode accordingly

You may do a test read to check for version ID through register 0x80

Thanks for your reply. This fault occurs probabilistically, with a probability of about one in a thousand. Is the possible cause consistent with the above description?
