ADS9212: Inquiry about sample availability, additional documentation

Hello,

I'd like to know if there's any more information available about the ADS9212, namely when stock might be available or if there are any additional implementation notes. I've read through the datasheet, and it looks great for my project, but I'd like to know when I could have it in hand so I can choose how to design my device. If it won't come out for a while, I'll find another chip.

Hi Tim,

You should be able to request samples by going to this page - https://www.ti.com/product/ADS9212/part-details/ADS9212RSHR?source=ooq

On the left side, it will say "More ADS9212 information," then click "Add sample to cart." That should allow to you get a few free samples.

If this unavailable to you let me know, and we can arrange a manual shipment.

Thanks for your quick reply. This is my first time requesting TI samples, so I think I just had to wait for my application for the sample program to process. I just placed a request for samples of this chip, this'll get me moving. Do you have any info for when medium-size quantities will be available for purchase? I see that a purchase option for 2,500 is coming up, but I'd more realistically need ~100.

Hi Tim,

The standard pack quantity is 2,500 units, so it defaults to the this. However, you should be able to purchase 100u from the TI store directly. We will be getting more units over the next couple of weeks, but holiday's upcoming it could a few delays. When do you need the 100u by?

I'm not in a huge rush to get these. If they're available sometime in Q1 next year, that's probably fine. I can probably do my PCB development with the samples I ordered.
