ADS127L18: Question re: availability

Hi -- We've been getting good results with a prototype based on the ADS127L18 EVM and are now looking to spin some boards for in-house testing, but it seems that the availability status on ti.com went from "Unavailable" to "Out of stock" the minute the product was released to manufacturing. Will it be possible to order 100 each of these reasonably soon, or would it be better to contact an outside distributor?

I currently see 400 units of the ADS127L18IRSHR available on Ti.com. Are you able to order from this stock? How urgently do you need the units? We should have a restock into the Ti store in early January.

Thanks, Josh -- it's not super urgent yet, but I would be interested in ordering now if I can. When I check inventory myself, I'm seeing this:

Is any particular trick needed to show the true inventory status?

Let me confirm with the team. This may be due to a bug in the system since we recently released this part. It may take a few days to hear back due to the holidays.

Great, thanks again for checking. Someone actually asked a similar question a while back, about a part that was released for sale but never showed up as orderable, but I couldn't find the link. Sounds like the same issue.

Hello John,

We should have more units of the ADS127L18 available for purchase within the first two weeks of January. I believe the current issue is that the inventory on the Ti store has dropped below 500 units. For new devices if this occurs it limits the visibility. I am not sure how it decides who to limit the visibility to however. I am looking into whether this can be changed.
