AMC7834EVM: The software fails to load from my windows 11 Pro

Tool/software:

The driver for the USB connected to the "SDM-USM-DIG" is from Microsoft 6/21/2006. When I try to update the driver to "Virtual COM Port (CDC) I get this driver is not digitally signed and it won't load. I have not been able to override the signature.

With the USB cable to the AMC7834evm disconnected from the PC, the application fails to come up and I have to manually kill the app. Shouldn't the app come up in a simulation mode?

Hi Robert,

Yes, the application should come up in simulation mode if you do not have the EVM connected. Did you install the GUI recently? See if reinstalling the GUI fixes the problem.

I downloaded the AMC7834evm setup to a different PC and everything came up ok. The evm board is now connected to the PC and is working. I am able to set the output voltages on the converters.

You can close this problem.
