Hello Andrei,
Thank you for posting on our forum!
The ADS9219EVM intended operating temperature is room temperature (25C +/- a few degrees) . We typically do not rate/test the EVMs over temperature, as they are meant for evaluation in typical conditions. That being said, hardware wise most components on the board, excluding the controller board (TSWDC155EVM), are rated for ~-40C to ~85C.
The ADS9219 itself is also rated for -40C to 125C.
Could I ask what temperature range you would like to test the EVM in?
Best regards,
Yolanda
Hello Andrei,
Thank you for sharing the temperature range!
If I may ask, would the plan be to re-use the FMC connector or what would be the approach? As well as the planned speed used to communicate with the device?
Best regards,
Yolanda
correction, T range -25 .. 70C
we'd like to use FMC connector with Samtec FMC extension cable. Max speed I see is 240MHz for DCLK so that would be nice but anything lower is also acceptable
Thank you for sharing, this sounds very interesting. Please let me know if there any ADS9219 or ADS9219EVM additional information that I could provide or look into that would help for your testing and verification of this device.
I am quite intrigued, if you wouldn't mind sharing, what kind of system you are designing as well as how you'd plan to the ADS9219?
Best regards,
Yolanda
well, it would be nice to know if the board is expected to function correctly at these temperatures
Thank you for the feedback Andrei,
We like to learn how customers use our devices, the more we understand the better we can address it moving forward.
I can confirm that the device, ADS9219, should function correctly over temperature. Information regarding that is available in the datasheet.
Best regards,
Yolanda
