DAC7716: DAC7716

Hello, 

Are there multiple devices behaving like sample B, or just the one? Does the read back of zeros to sample B always return incorrect? If so, does it always return incorrect with the same value or random values?  For example, write zeros and read back twice. Do the reads return the same value? 

Does an A-B-A swap of the devices conclude that the issue follows the board or the part?

It looks like the writes to the device are sometimes being misinterpreted. Is there any noise in the system that is present on the sample B board and not the sample A board? Can you monitor SCLK, SYNC, SDI, and SDO on the scope for a few different DAC writes including zero scale and other than zero?
