ADC12DJ5200RFEVM: Urgent Request for Correct TI-JESD204-IP Download

Part Number: ADC12DJ5200RFEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TI-JESD204-IP

Tool/software:

Hi.

I previously requested and downloaded the TI-JESD204-IP; however, it appears that I may have made an incorrect selection, as the file I received is different from what I actually need. Would it be possible for you to provide the correct version?

Additionally, when I attempt to proceed with a new download request, the status remains "Access Pending," and I am unable to move forward. The customer support team has advised me to reach out to you for further assistance.

This matter is extremely urgent, and I would greatly appreciate your prompt support.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Best regards,
tabe

  • Hello Tabe,

What exactly are you looking for and what exactly did you get? Can you please elaborate what you mean by "I may have made an incorrect selection, as the file I received is different from what I actually need"'

    Thanks,

    Eric

  • Hi, Eric

I intended to use a 12-bit, dual-channel, 16-lane configuration, so I referred to Table 6-23 and requested the following settings:

    • FS[GSPS] = 5
    • Decimation = DDC Bypass
    • Data Rate[MSPS] = 5 (This was mistakenly written as 5000)
    • JMODE = 41
    • Lane Rate = 8.25 Gbps

However, the file I downloaded appears to be configured as single-channel, 8-lane, which does not match my intended setup.

According to the datasheet, Table 6-29 lists JMODE 31 as 12-bit, dual-channel, DDC Bypass, 16-lane, while Table 6-30 describes JMODE 41 as 8-bit, single-channel, 8-lane.

Would it be correct to assume that I should have requested JMODE 31 instead?

    Best regards,
    Tabe

  • Hi, Eric,

After running the ADCxxDJxx00RF EVM GUI, I understood that the JMODE I want to implement is JMODE 41.

Previously, I requested the reference design for JMODE 41.

Could you confirm whether this reference design configures the VCU118 to operate with JMODE 41?

    Best regasrds,

    Tabe
